2 Timothy 4:7-8

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day...

  1. Sis. Frances Ginty served the Lord and made an impact upon lives that still lives on today. I am thankful that she raised her children in the church--one of them being a very good friend of mine, Mary Ginty. To the Ginty family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. Though we take time to grieve and sorrow, we are thankful that we are not without hope. Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King! Heaven becomes all the more real when you know a loved one is waiting there for you. God bless you all!

    Love,

  2. Sis Francis was the most amazing beautiful woman with a heart of gold. The world is a little less bright without her in it. Her life was filled with love and joy and she shared that love and joy with all no matter who they were and that is how I will always remember her. Ginty family you are in my thoughts during this sorrowful time.

  3. I'm gonna miss you like crazy, Sis. Fran! Going to miss hearing that tambourine shake at the back of the church accompanied with your, "hallelujah!" But, I know that your "hallelujah" is so much more precious now that you've made it across the finish line.

Thank you for everything you instilled in me in my years of being in your Sunday school class; thank you for all the lessons, all the crafts, all the "Secret Pal" tea parties, all the hugs, all the memories. You will forever be remembered... And soon we'll meet again in the sweet by and by.

    I love you!

  4. To Mary and family:
May God's comfort and love sustain you throughout this period. May the memories of Frances Ginty and the wholesome life she lived be a constant reminder to you of how you are to order your steps in God and His Word. And may your life be as meaningful and impactful as hers as you carry on her legacy and seek ways to chart your own. God bless you and keep you as you rejoice in a life well lived. I do pray that many souls will come to know Jesus through this transition. Lots of warm hugs and kisses from Jamaica. (You can all come for a vacation here after the home going celebration).

  6. I will never forget the time that my sister-in-law and I went to Paradise Shadows and gave a Bible Study to a single mom who had been sending her daughters to LPC for Wednesday night classes. One of her daughters had been in Sister Fran's class and had taken numerous crafts home that were displayed in the kitchen.

During the Bible Study, we went through the Gospel verse by verse. When we arrived at Acts 2:38 to tie it all together, the light of Revelation dawned upon this mother. Then, excitedly she exclaimed, "You mean, the answer has been in my kitchen all along?!" How many other homes have the Word displayed thanks to Sister Fran's craft projects? We may never know! Thank God for a woman who "crafted" the Word into homes that would never have had it otherwise!
